ueber mich

in wenigen Worten...

about me

in a nutshell...

I'm a semi-professional photographer, born in Berlin/Germany and living a couple of years clsoe to Frankfurt/Main. I call myself "semi-professional" because photography doesn't pays my bills, but my professional approach if above the usually one of a freetime photographer. I have a regular job as an engineer, which has most often highest priority. However that's the main reason I can actually decide what or who I make pictures of. A luxury most of the professional photographers unfortunately often can't affort...

In terms of photography I'm 100 percent self-educated, which means I learned everything about making photographs on my own. Of course you need to know a few basics - even more important in times of analogue phototgraphy than today. However even at the digital age experience, to keep an eye on details and a proper mastery of the technology play an important part at photography. Additional you need a lot of empathy and knowledge about the human body if you work with people and try to achieve optimum results.

Yes, photography is a lot of hard work and requires to keep the focus at all times - in front and behind the camera. But despite all the technology and best practises the fun shouldn't be missed out. And I dare to state, you'll see it later at the pictures...
